In 2001, the Cedar Rod & Gun Educational Foundation was formed. The mission of the Foundation is to promote and sustain the shooting sports, education and conservation activities.
Key youth functions which the Foundation underwrites on an annual basis are the Youth Trap League in the spring and the MDNR Hunter Safety program in the late summer
